put your money toward a better version. mixed reviews, one guy has a detailed review at 3* read that one. Most trail cams have pretty bad ratings, even known brands, because of image quality especially night, so watch for one that is highly rated.

If they had passable image quality with NV and IR at sub-$100 then everyone would be bolting them to rifles and we would live in a wasteland.

$20 more gets you 1080p from a much more popular brand, otherwise I'd pounce on it.

This does make for a very cheap security camera though.. it wont alert you obviously but if you suspect something occurred, it could easily get a face on camera without them ever knowing.. and without paying $190.
