What are the differences from x6s? The x6s is $199 at Costco.

I didn't listen to the Amazon reviews and I regret buying this unit. After about a year and a half I now have to constantly unplug this thing in to fix the Wi-Fi. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this one.

And the firmware's been fully upgraded? If so, that stinks.

I've never had issue with mine. However, I put a custom firmware on it and tweaked it.

The biggest difference is MU-MIMO. The x6s also has slightly faster speeds.

Bought Costco unit too. Randomly disconnects every two days. Firmware up to date. Looking to return and replace.

These nighthawks must run hot or something because there are a LOT of reviews with them becoming unreliable or simply having the wifi stop working after months or a year.

Does the Costco warranty cover these longer than 90 days, or is it the same as TVs, etc? I'd only touch one of these with a long Costco warranty. The Netgear 1 year one is a joke. Little support after 90 days.

I would think that it does NOT fall under the limited return window. They are very specific on the products that are limited and I don't see routers enumerated.

Did you see that there is a dedicated Costco support number for this router (look in the More Details section)? Just noticed it on the product page. 888-228-4719 - says it's 24 hour tech support. Might be helpful?
