Yea I always get them from VUDU. Would never get it from Amazon after the price match. The only reason they have these deals is because of VUDU. Don't get them from VUDU and these deals would never happen. It is a great alternative for people that have credits to burn up.

Looks like all the same movies as VUDU's $0.50 rental promo for their new site... to bad neither includes the 4k versions.

Yep, as usual Amazon is "a day late and a dollar short" (OK, maybe not a dollar short) in pricematching the Vudu deal yesterday. Sometimes they do not pricematch all of the movies, so as usual, I go with the company who leads and originates the deal rather than wait around on a maybe from Amazon. For me using Vudu vs. Amazon makes no difference in quality and both apps are equally easy to use. Had Amazon pricematched right away instead of being the laggy follower they always are, I might have rented off Amazon instead. I know Amazon is crying over those few bucks of revenue they lost from me not buying from them and it will break their company with their stock at new all time record highs every day. NOT.

This would be a great way to burn some Amazon digital credit. Does anyone know an easy way to find Amazon video purchases that are on sale? Searching on Slickdeals only turns up maybe 3-4 movies that are on sale.

What are the Amazon rules on rentals?? How long from the day you rent do you have to watch them?

How long after you start watching until they disappear?

I also agree regarding supporting the first to start a sale. Besides, Amazon is currently a no-go for us, given it does not work with our Chromecast.

When I first read this I thought it was to own not to rent and I almost had a stroke.

From their website "When renting, you have 30 days to start watching this video, and 3 days to finish once started."

You are welcome..
