Not only that, but I couldn't find the coupon code in the OP's post anywhere on the item's Amazon page. The reason that this sends up a red flag for me is that 1) I've been contacted multiple times by sellers offering to pay me to post their deals on SD. They're especially looking for "experienced" accounts so the shill posts aren't as obvious. & 2) I know of no way that coupon codes not publicly available on an item's Amazon page could be obtained other than directly from the seller.

This, couped with the Fakespot rating, doesn't bode well for this item's/post's legitimacy.

OP, I'm curious...from where did you obtain this coupon code? Knowing that it came from a legit source would give potential buyers confidence in this deal. Thanks.

Didn't know this stuff happens with experienced posters on SD - good to know! I see so many of these kinds of posts, so it's something to keep in mind.

I've been offered $20 "or more" per post, so it's not chump change, either. I could definitely use the money, but I love SD too much to contribute to its shillification. SD has saved (and cost! laugh out loud ) me so much money over the years and I can't stand how flooded with shills it's become over the last year or so. They're getting smarter, too, by buying off legit users instead of posting deals and comments themselves as much, so I try to post about this every time I see a shilly deal. The mods have encouraged me to do so, as well.
