Spice grinder maybe. Grinding coffee with this thing will make beans taste like burnt acidic dirt.

I'm starting to feel the same as others about these "cheap Chinese crap" affiliate Amazon posts.

You can get good name-brand (e.g. Mr. Coffee, KitchenAid) blade grinders for $15-20 all day, every day, which means on sale they'd be close to this price. When the cheapies (e.g. Bella, GE) go on sale, they're usually in the $5 range. Either buy the cheapies on sale, or pay a few bucks more for one with good reviews that will last.

I mostly use a mortar and pestle to grind spices these days, but for things like dried rosemary, the blades do a better job. Our blade grinder (don't remember the brand) cost $20, is over a decade old, and works more or less like it did when it was new. When it finally dies, I've got a cheapie that I bought a couple of years ago for less than $5 from Sears along with several to give as "stocking stuffer" gifts. That's a couple bucks per year, and you can buy whole spices, which have a stronger flavor and last a lot longer than pre-ground. You're saving money and making your food taste better.

(EDIT: BTW, you can probably find a decent mortar and pestle at TJ Maxx for under $10, too, and it's good for more than grinding spices. For most spices, it doesn't really take any longer to grind by hand by the time you wipe out and put away the grinder.)

Surprised the burr grinder snobs haven't jumped all over this one yet. That said, the poster above is right. You can get one like this in the $5-10 range. You can even find some decent brand names around $10.

This is not cheap actually a little bit more than what i paid for Mr Coffee. False advertising I think is what's going on here .
