Nice screens and nice prices but limited USB-C charging capability and awful spongy keyboard.

Agreed. This laptop is overpriced. I would pick the Samsung notebook pro over this. Its cheaper, more rigid, faster processor and only weighs a few ounces more.

The Samsung screen has horrible flicker though.

I own this laptop. IT HAS ZERO FLICKER. So, please dont blanket-ly make a statement like that.

Own a Samsung Notebook pro - the smaller one. like the one that is price 1199 here but it weighs about 6-7 ounces more and has a 256 rather than a 500gb ssd.

It looks like the webcam is below the screen, making it a nose cam. Bummer

The Samsung Notebook Pro is crippled by the horrible power button placement. They placed the power button on the side of the laptop and made it stick out. Any bump to the side of the laptop will put it to sleep.

Bought the 13" from Fry's but ended up returned it. Everything was okay, however I can't live with that Touchpad! It's laggy and unresponsive. Try to install the Microsoft precision touchpad driver on it, but it didn't work. As a super light laptop, I expect a great touchpad, and don't like to carry mouse around. Battery last me around 14 hours which is very good, hopefully they will improve the future model.

Do y'all just go out to the web, take whatever some cnet editor wrote and repost it?

I've used this laptop for months and months and that has happened 2x. And the hyperbole of crippling is laughable. You are talking about a machine that wakes up from sleep almost as fast as an ipad. Its literally like a split second.
