Seems like a solid price esp for 2.5in and 3.5in ports. How does the clone/replication work? Comes with software?

I'm tempted to buy this but I only need one bay for a current project.

When cloning, aren't you usually doing it from a drive already in the PC?

These guys are great. I bought this unit from them a couple of years ago...https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Ex...nt+EC-HDD2.

I finally got around to using it 10 months later, and noticed that the dock would occasionally lose connection from the desktop in the middle of transferring large files to and from. I contacted them. They sent me a brand new unit, no questions asked.

Thanks I find a LOT of cloning software to not work right and paid ones to be best. the name escapes me right now but it's the same one I've been using for over a decade. That said, this one has hardware cloning which i assume is bit by bit so I trust that (albeit prob slow).

Is this a new version? Product is not even listed on their website. Very good deal if this is the newest version.

Would my router recognize two 3tb WD NAS Drive plugged into the back of it? Thinking of making a cheap cloud backup that I can access anywhere.
