Blinq claims:
Factory Refurbished
Item looks and feels new
Special refurbished packaging

Nintendo Switch 32GB Console with Gray Joy-cons, even though it says factory refurbished, these are actually customer returns according to most people who ordered in previous deals. I ordered the blue and red controller deal that said the same exact thing, my tracking was from BBY.COM/OPTORO, and I received a like new unit, in original packaging. Edit: others have reported getting brown cardboard boxes with all the parts bubble wrapped and in poor condition.

Mine arrived with firmware 3.0.2, so no luck for those looking to homebrew. My guess is these are all Christmas returns, where 3.0.2 is what the factory had put on it.

The warranty situation is unknown (ewb110 in the other thread said Nintendo saw it was a return), but Blinq offers a 30 day money back guarantee. People claim paying $65 more for a warranty is better, but the last thread had people biting on the deal even after it had jumped up to $267

yeah nintendo is tracking the warranties differently now. because its refurbbed, its probably out of the nintendo warranty anyway. any of the units bought at release are nearing the warranty end period as they are locked to the time when they are sold and not registered.

From the last thread, apparently a monster who had their AC adapter die...probably bought a new switch, swapped out the adapter, then returned it.

Other monsters seemed to have swapped out the joy-cons because the lock mechanism broke off or because of joystick drift.

The only thing I could figure out on mine was a scratch on the screen that is only visible when the screen is off and only at an angle. Since I plan to have it docked 99% of the time, I'm happy with it so far, though I may contact Blinq to request a partial refund.

I'll bite. We bought a second new unit for our family for Christmas (the first is mine), but my oldest son is has been using our family Switch almost exclusively. As our son would gladly buy his own discounted Switch, I will give him the opportunity. And with a 30 day return period, if it arrives in decent working condition we will be okay with it. Thanks OP.

The gray version seems to be on sale more often than the neon one...

My left joy con has a broken lock. It's annoying as hell but by no means a game breaker.

I got the red and blue the last time and it was beat up to hell... I'm jealous of the people who got theirs in like new condition, because mine was a 6/10.

3.0.2 will have homebrew eventually. Has the same trustzone vulnerabilities.

Ordered one to see what version I get. I'm currently holding a 2.2.0 and a new Splatoon 2 bundle with 3.0.0, but that will be returned to Walmart if the BLINQ console is in decent shape with the correct firmware.

Am i missing something? How is refurbished $312 and Brand new $299? If not for the promo code this would be some shady pricing.
