Branding is real, but if this can brainwash your child, that's your fault.

It is the parents job to encourage critical thinking and independent thought.

A child can play with this and not become slavishly devoted to the Walmart brand.

This was exactly my thought as well!...AND for the low low price of only $3 we get to brainwash our youngsters to be loyal to the Walmart brand!

You're only viewing this from the extreme perspective which was not my intention. A child doesn't have to be "slavishly devoted", and there's nothing wrong with Walmart or shopping at Walmart per se. My point was that, the human brain can be subliminally influenced, therefore, I have an issue with paying Walmart to basically give them free dedication, even if it's just $3. I have almost the same issue with any type of branding though so you may be right, maybe I'm the problem.
