Note that Homedepot.com has 4-packs of certain sizes of an even-higher rated (FPR 7) air filter from Arm & Hammer [homedepot.com] priced LESS than this $20, albeit without free shipping (unless $45 order or higher).
For example, $16.79 for 16 in. x 25 in., $16.20 for 20 in. x 30 in. Unfortunately, 4-packs of other sizes cost $37 or even more.

So if you can take advantage of these (better) filters, it actually costs less money!

For those interested, here is a comparison of MERV/FPR/MPR ratings and their relative filtration ability. Keep in mind that different HVAC systems are rated for different levels of filtration since 'better' filters will cause a greater air pressure buildup in the unit and each unit is only designed to handle so much pressure. I buy the MERV13 filters to use with my DIY home air filter system but for the furnace I just use MERV8.

I'm not sure the A&H are much, if any, better than the Rheem, which a 3 pack is always $9 in store... https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rheem...140809-_-N

those are an fpr 4, so higher airflow and less filtering, which is arguably better for your hvac anyway

Are these ones at all sturdier than the lower rated ones? The last time I bought those they almost fell apart when I tried to insert it into the furnace.
