Anybody know offhand the differences between the regular and deluxe versions?

Edit: Figured out the difference...

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Deluxe Edition
Includes SteelBook, 2017 Character Pass (6 all-new DLC characters and 6 premium costumes) and standard version of the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Worth the cost difference?

Yup, I agree about the DLC situation. I would be all over this if all characters were free and available to play. As it is I will wait for everything to be released and be affordable sometime in the far flung future.

I'm holding out for the eventual Ultimate edition with the DLC included.

This. Just jumped in on the SFV arcade edition. Very disappointing on Capcom's initial release for the sake of the competitive scene. Right now would be a good time to get that. Not very inclined to get MVC infinite don't know why.

Also hesitating on jumping on Monster Hunter World because of this DLC nickel and diming scheme they've been doing. But it's a totally different kind of game and reviews do not have anything negative to say thus far of its lack of content.

No where near the quality/entertainment of of Injustice 2 or Tekken 7.

But, at this price I will re-buy it and put some more time into it.

The characters all remind me more of renders of action figures rather than actual living things and the pace is slow.

It will take a pretty big overhaul to make me motivated to play this game. I've pretty much moved on from this franchise myself as it no longer seems to represent any comic book characters and is strictly a movie tie in.

does anyone know if the character pass in the deluxe includes the 30 future dlc characters in the future? Or are they just for the 1st 6?

It was leaked that there are about 20 to 30 additional characters coming out.
