I am sick and tired of Orbi disconnects so I started looking for alternatives and found this deal below. An OK deal IMHO, not the best since these could be had new for around the same price last Black Friday.

So here you go:
Linksys VELOP Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System (Pack of 2) (Certified Refurbished) plus Linksys CM3016 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem (Certified Refurbished) is $249.99 at Linksys.com. The modem is automtically added to cart. 90-days warranty.

Sorry to hear about your Orbi - have you connected with the Orbi Community forums for help? I have had good luck with mine but sounds like others have had problems which is frustrating..

Tried to read through forums... the same answer across the board: wait for new firmware; the firmware released; the problem remains; rinse and repeat.

Time to return Orbi back to Costco and move on.

Funny, they have a Velop 2 pack (no modem) for $200 at my Walmart, I was looking at them, but really wanted the Orbi. Seems like Orbi was great then they really screwed it up... Maybe I should just get the Velop

I bought Orbi the other day on OfferUp ($150 for a new RBK50 kit - quite the deal). However, I installed it, and first night, multiple disconnects. I went back to my Nighthawk X10 Smilie I'll eBay the Orbi and make a few bucks.

Apparently there are other settings you can change that may help but my X10 works just fine, I didn't want to deal with it.
