25% off is about the best I've seen. They ran that sale for a good long time in the fall. I need to drive down to their retail store and maybe grab something.

Typically these will hold ice for much longer than your typical Walmart or Coleman coolers. They tout these, at least the soft ones, to hold ice without melting for up to 5 days, most Coleman or Walmart brand last a day at most. That is the practical advantage, the other advantages come from build quality and durability. These are much more tough than those.

How do these compare with Pelicans as well as the Ozark Trail ones at Walmart? I've heard good things about Ozark Trail and actually picked up a 20qt Pelican for around $135~ from Bed Bath and Beyond a couple months ago... tempted to get a larger-sized RTIC though.

It's crazy thinking about how much these coolers actually cost regardless...facepalm. They do serve a purpose though if you need to hold ice that long. Definitely could have used one or two of these in Mexico on a fishing trip 10 yrs ago - 2 bags of ice would melt in a day where we were (Sea of Cortez side), and the way we handled the fish was pretty poor to but that's another issue.

Almost all the 65 are sold out but I went ahead and got a 45 in tan, mainly for size reasons. The Rtic 65 is comparable to the Yeti 70 and the Rtic 45 is comparable to the Yeti 50.
