Better than the BLU Life ONE X2 Mini? Got that about a year ago for about the same price as this except it came with 64 instead of 32.

Not really, but if it is, I wouldn't think enough so to consider it for an upgrade. Obviously, in some ways it's a downgrade.

The differences I see are that this has less storage, 1 GB less RAM, but a better selfie camera, if that's important to someone. In fact, this is the first one I"ve seen with a 13 MP selfie camera. Hard to compare processors without googling since they are different brands. And of course it's larger. This is running on Nougat while I bet the Mini is still on Marshmallow. The Mini is currently $180 while this is currently $130.

Anyone care to figure out what the equivalent Snapdragon processor would be?

Blu phones are not worth any money. It's a complete hit and miss. I bought 4 vivo XL when they were $99, 3 of them were plagued with issues and 2 died literally after 3 months. Only 1 of them lasted for little more than a year but while it lasted I could see how it got worse and worse with each day, random boots, severe battery drain, way too long to get the dam thing charged up, so it was pretty pain in the butt. At $130 I would even recommend a $40 Moto E4 from Verizon which you can unlock easily and for cheap and it would be 100 times more usable. If you have more cash to burn and want non carrier branded unlocked phone I would recommend the Moto G5S or G5 with G5S over G5. The honor 7x for $200 is also going to be a better choice.

My wife cracked the screen in her e4 plus and I'm struggling to find anything even remotely comparable around $100 right now (that's what I paid for it a few months back from Target). I'm probably just going to end up buying another one for $120 (that's what they're going for now) if nothing else pops up soon. The E4 is a great phone and I'm using it now, but I'm sure the screen is too small and I know she wouldn't like the battery life.

As long as hardware is ok, keep the lg. If fact unlock and, root it, buy a new battery and enjoy android 8.

I'd go with a Moto E/G phone over this. Moto phones have 4 carrier support and actual OEM warranties. Blu phones are rebranded China phones. If this was under $60, it would be a deal. Don't even expect security updates.

From my experience with 2 differnt BLU phones - you are 100% correct. And the things that go out on them - just plain weird...
