Just as info on alternatives - I got this one [amazon.com] because it folds completely flat and compact so I can carry it in my bag easily. Works great and adjusts to several different angles.

I checked it out on ali express. This is actually a great price for this model. No clue on how well it works, but given it's simple function, it's hard to mess things up.

Hi. I saw the Anker and decided against it for myself. Though I'm sure it's built well, I'm wary of plastic parts. Especially for those parts that support weight. It gets some great reviews, but I like metal. (insert head-banging gif)

fwiw, this items looks identical

I ordered the silver one yesterday for $11.39 which is a good deal for one with a 4.5" x 4.5" seat to put a tablet or whatever on that's also adjustable. I have another Omotion stand for my phone (2" x 2") which I'm very happy with(sturdy and stable with good weight)

Was considering ordering another but seems like the OP's 1st link no long has the 40% coupon
The OP's 2nd link puts a silver and black one in your cart if you click on the 40% "Add both to cart" offer but total cost is $28.38 or $14.19 each--you must buy 2 Frown

You're right.. the coupon is no-longer available. Deal is dead.

PS: for anyone who got in on this offer while it was live, I asked the question on Amazon about how (if at all) this stand differs from the other "tablets" model. A company rep responded and said that:
  • the silicone pad on its base isn't as "sticky"
  • the lip that secures the bottom of the tablet is wider on this model.. allowing for thicker devices (than the "tablets" model)
imho, both differences sound like good things.
