Plus popular cashback sites are giving between 4-5% cashback today. It's not much, but it's a solid 50-60 bucks back.

Not sure why the thumbs down. This is $10 cheaper than the last popular deal I have posted with the exact model.

I was comparing these two as well...the AW has slightly faster RAM (2666 vs 2400), has an optical drive but doesn't have a SSD (has a 2TB HDD instead). I went with this model since I really wanted the SSD for the OS. Neither rig comes with a reinstall disk or anything so I wasn't sure how easy it would be to get a SSD after the fact and move the OS over. Also, I don't need an optical drive and I don't think the RAM speed is too significant. The big pro for the AW is a one year in house support plan vs the one year mail in plan for the inspiron. Hopefully this helps in some way...good luck!
