For intense FPS it gotta be 1ms or less. It is my personal opinion, even 2ms is not good enough for unknown player battle ground, overwatch and CS go. If you mainly do rts like league of legend it should be fine.

VA was designed to use for movies like ips for photo editing. Therefore. I end up using 3 monitors.

"Unknown Player Battle Ground"? When did the signal to noise ratio at Slickdeals become worse than the comments section at Amazon?

Depends what you want. I'm looking for a 1080p 24" monitor that has 144hz refresh rate with a great color gamut, as well as great viewing angles. This monitor has 3ms in exchange for whats in this case a slick Samsung VA panel, rather than getting 1ms with a TN panel that has and awful color range, and viewing angles so poor that it looks like the top half of the screen is dimmer than the bottom half. I know this is a gross oversimplification, and not all TN panels are like that, but once you see an IPS, or in this case VA panel, the difference is staggering.

So if you dont care about colors or viewing angles, but want that 1ms get a TN.
If you want vivid colors, wide viewing angles, and even a curved display in this case, get this monitor.
