Any recommendations between Inifinity Guantlet, Infinity Wars, or Secret Wars (newer and older versions?)

Infinity Gauntlet/War and the original Secret Wars were fun reads. I can't speak to the new Secret Wars stuff

The new Secret Wars was good if you like the "what if" alternate universe type of stories. The tie in to every marvel title was hit and miss, some we're great others were meh. The prelude "Time runs out" titles good.

Agreed. The event itself was really really good. Some tie ins were good and some were meh. Basically anything Hickman at Marvel is a really fun book.

Thanks for the alert. They seem to have these sales more and more but I still end up thinking, "Why didn't I buy this one?" I'm a fan of classic Marvel so looking to picking up some in that area.

The Lee-Ditko Spider-man [amazon.com]is fantastic and the price for issues 18-38 (plus Annual 2) is currently $3.70 vs $6.80 for issues 21-40 in two separate Masterworks collections

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_22?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=black+panther+sou... [amazon.com]

All these Black Panther comics showed free for me....

Edit: A lot was free with a sort from low price to high price, so I guess it is just normal?

If you're going to read the new Secret Wars, you should really preface it with Hickman's runs on Avengers and New Avengers, as it ALL ties together. That and his Ultimate Comics Ultimates run.

Bendis' run on DD, Brubaker's run on DD, Miller's run on DD. Early Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men and Ultimates. Uncanny X-Men Masterworks editions are all 3.40 apiece and vol 1-10 give you some of the BEST Uncanny X-Men work ever. The Hulk epic collections by Peter David are great. Tom King's Vision series is about the best Marvel work in the last three years.

Infinity: 1 is 7.00 but is over 600 pages so still a great price per page and collects some of my favorite comic book writing ever. It was probably about as good as it gets for modern Marvel.

Also Vision the complete series directors cut for $2.60. That was just released two weeks ago so killer deal.
