Is that from personal experience with this set? Reviews on Amazon suggest otherwise but people have different standards.

I work for Asurion. I bought this kit last year. This kit definitely does wonders. I've repaired countless amount of devices. The guitar picks are like gold. If you work on a lot of phones, buy some extra picks because people will take them. I'd also recommend buying their heavy duty suction cups as well.

Other kits on Amazon just as good for $20.
Even better to buy a screwdriver and bit set for $10-12 and then a separate set of spudgers and such. 30% of what comes in these kits is plastic junk you can buy fort pennies on eBay.

Maybe the guitar picks might be special.. but everything here, if you have harbor freight and eBay you can get for 15 dollars or less (with a free flashlight)? Thats how I have my set ups for iPhone screen and MacBook repairs- works great.

If this had fixit's heavy duty suction cup and/or heated bag, I will be all over it.

Bought something amazon kit two years ago, around $15, now it's around $12. My point is that kit has to trash. Most of them are rusty. But I don't see anyone complaining about rusty? And damaged on handle?

It is not soft metal, but it's not snap-on tools quality either. It's sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about the bits breaking. i have a slightly different kit that has a few less parts but its worked with no issues. I've used it swap out hard drives, fix an old iPod and anything that might need smaller bits. If anything the plastic spunger is actually a bit stronger than anything you'd get on eBay or Amazon. It'll still get eaten up but the cheapo ones are one and done.

This is for anyone who wonders the quality of this tool set,

Back in Dec. 2016, it was confirmed that Apple design team actually use this specific brand of tool set in their "Designed by Apple in California" video. Check out 0:50 here. [youtube.com]

I can't tell much about how good these are but it's true that professionals use this.
