I went for it, but instead of buying it from Amazon, I PM'd at Best Buy, where you also will be getting the exclusive steelbook from them! Enjoy!!!

I totally get that this is only $11, but I highly recommend you get EA Access for $30 which not only includes Mass Effect Andromeda, but also ME 1,2,3. I'll cut and paste of all the free games below but imo it's the best deal on the Xbox. I'm not including the 10 hour free trials like Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Depends if you consider a game with lousy story and characters a good deal at $11. ME2 and 3 was WAY BETTER.

Play ME3. It's a good game. The ending is controversial but everything up to that point is very good IMO. The Citadel DLC is a good way to end the series so I would get a version with the DLCs included.

I love the original ME trilogy, and I couldn't get into ME:A at all. Played about 5 hours. It felt much more like a Dragon Age game than a Mass Effect game. And from a technical standpoint, it was a mess. The frame rate felt like having the hiccups while motion sick. Not sure if those problems have been fixed. Nonetheless, $12 is a good deal if you want to give it a try.

I paid around $15 and enjoyed it. For $12 it's worth a try. If you were really into the original trilogy you might struggle to get into this one.

For what it's worth, I really liked some of the endings to Mass Effect 3, in particular the one where humanity and Technology become merged

Play ME3 on PC. There are mods available to replace the controversial ending

This is why I never by single player games when they first come out.. if you just wait a bit, the price drops dramatically not to mention patches.

Also, I hear it's a lot better than what critics give it credit for.. haven't played it yet but have a few friends that loved it.

I loved the originally trilogy. I was in the fence about ME:A but still have it a try about 3 months ago. The game gets better after you leave the first planet. Once you get about half way in you unlock awesome perks a upgrades. By the time I finished the game character was a biotic monster. No it's not a 10/10 but it's worth a play through. Stick with it and underneath is a real neat experience
