Uh what. Aren't 98% of all speakers worth buying connected via "old school" speaker wire?

A little old school (inputs are only speaker wire), but can be retrofitted for modern connections. Pretty powerful speakers for the price (and water resistant), but I think it requires a little reading for folks who don't work with speaker wire often.

Code doesn't work for the cables. At least, doesn't change to $1 but seems to accept the code.

I'm lost. Did you expect these to connect via HDMI? You use speaker cable to connect speakers. Did you mean the connector type, such as banana plugs?

What do they connect to? Can you make them Bluetooth?

Speaker wire https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=14915
satellite speakers cannot be made Bluetooth economically but you can get a Bluetooth receiver to connect to the subwoofers AmazonBasics Bluetooth 4.0 Audio Receiver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I59V...BAb7QNEF9V
but you would still need a amplifier

Any thoughts about this set of speakers vs the Insignia sound bar and sub from Best Buy for $50 that was on sale a couple of days ago. I got that already but haven't hooked it up yet.

I'm using this for my guest Room hooked up to my old Yamaha 5.1 receiver. So only speakers and speaker wire will do fine, but I'm more curious which would sound better. Mystery speakers vs Insignia sound bar?

Might be a stupid question but just so i know, speaker wires connect satellites to sub and then wires go from sub to receiver considering it is a passive sub? Also, no way to use these with a computer or another aux connection?

I bought three of this bb Insignia sets and they sound excellent for the $$$. And they have more options for connections. I used them for Dot speakers and no interference at all, turn on instantly. No regrets
