True. Fiasco is Such a reason is why I'm switching to AMD for my first build.

In all fairness, if you are cash strapped and want to build a gaming rig, i5 is highly recommended. Rather spend saved money on gfx card. i7 advantage is going to be negligible.

Usually I will say b'buy what you need now but at this time waiting 6 months and keeping whatever computing solution you have is the advice that Antonin sensical will give you.

Gpu = overpriced
Memory= overpriced
CPU= bugged, too close or next gen or fixed architecture

Buy a nice case and look at it waiting for your next build Wink

Bahhh, my impatient ass would just buy this for 189 with no price protection. Oh well, still a great processor so far!

What's the cheapest memory you would recommend for my ryzen 5 build and I have this motherboard : ASRock AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac AM4 AMD Promontory B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

Why is memory so expensive? it used to be like 60 bucks to get memory for top of the line computer

Link for Motherboard is below

That's still $10 more than retail pricing, AND no cheap MBs yet.
