You know, I wasn't even going to claim this sample, (which normally I would take almost literally anything that was free.) But I researched what they were, and couldn't picture any scenario in which they wouldn't just be put on my garage shelf, and left there unused & completely wasted the rest of my life.

Until... I look over at my cats running around like idiots, and...Eureka! I'll give these to my cats to bat around. Big Grin

Thanks op, they're gonna get a kick out of these! TU & Reppd for making my cats happy. Kittyhug

For those who want to know what these are supposed to be used for:

ABOUT POLY PLUGS

"Termiticide Flex Plug System and Method" (Patent Pending)

The Poly Plug is one of the two parts to a more cost effective, user-friendly, and efficient system. The second part is an optional "T Handle Tool" used to counter sink the Poly Plug. The plug will support the wet cement patch materials for the termite treatment drill holes in concrete slabs until cured.

Two Added Important Benefits and Tips

1. If termite treatment holes are drilled around exteriors of structures and rain storms should suddenly approach, Poly Plugs (closed cell material) can be quickly installed leaving them just above the top of slabs in order to prevent rain runoffs to enter drill holes prior to, or after treatment. After rains have passed, Poly plugs can either be removed for termite treatment, or, than counter sunk to apply patching materials.

2. Since Poly Plugs are a closed cell material, they will not absorb moisture out of concrete patch. This will allow the concrete to dry evenly. A quick scuff over the concrete patch with your boot after patch has cured for 10 minutes, and the holes are almost undetectable. The plugs will be covered and not seen again.

You have done a noble service and made me google what these things are.

We should have forum based on 'alt-use.' :-)

I recently got the Sea Dek non-slip boat flooring samples as a freebie.

After peeling and sticking I used them to elevate my laptops, keyboards and various devices at home and in my classroom. Great for adding extra fan clearance here in Hawaii.

Bet there are uses 'out of the box' for these as well.

I looked up what to do with these.
I think what is says is that they are for termite pesticide drill holes.
We're in FL, and do have a termite control service so I think we have those around the outside of the house.

I didn't know what size so I looked that info up too and read that most companies use a 3/8 or 1/2" bit to drill
the holes with.
