Three five star reviews. All highly suspect. One lady bought it for a friend, sure, you know, all the girls buy their friends USB-C to VGA adapters... The other two all review random odd stuff all at once, they must own six different types of tablets each and four different types of wifi cameras. I'm not saying this is a bad product, but I wouldn't trust the reviewers.

Will a Galaxy phone automatically mirror its screen to a monitor with something like this once connected? Or do you have to use an app or change a setting?

Thanks OP, ordered one. You can find these a couple dollars cheaper on eBay (~$4 shipped from china), however they take a month to arrive and if they are broken, another week or two to get a refund. $6 is a great price if you need it fast.

As someone who has accumulated like things... If you don't need it now, don't order it. There'll be more deals, I'm sure... I think USB-C will definitely catch on though

People still use VGA? Hasn't it been replaced by HDMI and DVI by now? I'm hoping that USB will becoming a standard for everything eventually (charging, video, sound, etc..).

I once bought an HDMI -> VGA cable before realizing that it would technically never work. It was a dummy cable. Is this like this also?

It's like adding a second video output to your device. I would guess you'd want an HDMI to VGA converter dongle like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XG7G...BAb8NAY16S

One of these reviews says they bought it to update their PS4 and it worked like a charm. Do any PS4s come with USB-C?
