Refurbished = not eligible for PP = more expensive than a new unit.

Is that really an issue considering this price has never been available before?

Yes?

Because with price protection it's available much cheaper than this price.

About $500 cheaper.

I guess that's a good reason to be weary, but I guess I doubt we'll see a non-refurbished 65" OLED even come close to this without unintended coupons or gift cards.

Except a brand new one has been much cheaper than this...for months... already... by using price protection... which you can't use on a refurb.

it's much cheaper than this right now that way too.

Hell, it's the same price for a brand new C7 at Frys right now before getting $500 back from price protection.

Hence why this is a terrible deal.

I guess I've rarely seen the 55" go below $1200 (especially the most modern ones) and this is the lowest we've seen any of the 65" oled's go.

And the Fry's deal is likely the lowest we'll see until Father's day, and only a small portion of the US actually has access to that deal. The rest of us only have access to the Walmart deal.

If anything goes cheaper in the 65" range, it's going to be another refurb

The entire nation has access to the Beach deal.

Which gets you the 65" for $1550 net price after price protection. Brand new shipped to your door.

Which is $349 less than this refurbished one.

Hence, again, why this deal sucks.

Really, I must have missed that deal.

All my searches show the $2100 deal.

Do you have a link to it?

I might have to seriously consider it for that price.

It's $2050 up front, then $500 back from price protection. $1550 net price for the 65". Multiple threads on the deal already, all mentioning price protection repeatedly.

here-
https://slickdeals.net/f/11212803-lg-oled65c7p-2050-when-you-call-into-buy-dig-active-again?v=1&src=SiteSearch

or here-

They keep running the deal every couple of days (was active today for example- might still be tomorrow, you'd have to call when they open to see)

The fact you can't use price protection on a refurb is why this deal sucks compared to that one- it ends up $350 more for a refurb versus a new set.
