I bought some D-Link refurbed routers. Never again.

Zero quality control in my experience...

So torn, this looks like what I need - range and capabilities. But I can't configure it to work with OpenDNS, which is a must have for my house. I wish it supported dd-wrt.

Better/More features than stock firmware.
Great stability, less bugs, open source, frequent updates with no real EOL

I have r7000 and saw no benefit of custom firmware. Not always open source is better for everyone.
