If you are near a Microcenter they have them for $479. I picked one up a few weeks ago. Overall not a bad machine. I'd rate it mid tier at best. HDD is slow of course but that's with any 5400 HDD. Win10 clean install went smooth. All the drivers are available. Fingerprint reader to unlock the PC is nice. Only gripe is the touchpad. I can't find any drivers/apps for it to do something as simple as disable it while typing. I've tried both Alps and Synaptic. Came from a 14" Gen 3 it Ultrabook.

What does this mean: " 1x M.2 2280 Slot"? Does it mean you can attach SSD bought off the shelf later?

Yes, you are correct. This laptop has one 2.5" Slot where the HDD is attached and an empty M.2 SATA Slot of size 22x80. So, you can buy a 2280 M.2 SSD and add it to that slot.

I can't find it on MicroCenter's web site, you have a link, by any chance?

Also coming from a 14" ultrabook (ThinkPad x1 carbon 2nd gen). Want a bigger screen but wondering how it will be getting used to the weight which is almost double. But price is great....available open box at microcenter near me for $408.

Is this machine decent for business purposes? Need a lot of multi tasking and dual monitor capability. does this suffice? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

I thought I would hate the extra weight and width. It turns out it doesn't bother me too bad. I like having the number pad which I thought I'd hate.
