I noticed this 50% off offer at Target Cartwheel:

https://cartwheel.target.com/o/rime/-/203535

The current price for RiME (Switch) is $29.49, with 50% off, the final price is $14.75. I think you can also get an additional 5% off with RED card.

Reviews for the Switch port are tepid at best. Anyone recommend at the $15 price point?

I returned mine at launch that I paid $24 for. I don't believe the developer added anything post launch so performance is still likely very poor with frame rate dropping below 10 fps at points.

It is 39.99 in store and the target employee said cartwheel do not stack with the price match online price. So it turns out to be $21 instead of $14, or am I missing something

Went to another Target and they worked around it for me and got it for $14.88. NintendoLife announced RiME creators are working tirelessly to fix the game https://mobile.twitter.com/ninten...4366028800

Usually if you buy other items with this type of deal it's hard for them to notice the cartwheel discount. It looks less suspicious and works for me without question

You can't really sneak it in. The system isn't dumb. If a price override is done and then a cartwheel discount applies they will not stack. The system will calculate which individual offer results in the lowest price and then applies that option ignoring the other. As someone mentioned it takes a lot of finagling by customer service to combine an online price match and cartwheel. Most reps won't even do it as typically the online price is meant to match the post cartwheel price. So by combining they're pretty much doubling the cartwheel discount.

This definitely depends on the store, mine has always matched the online price and added the cartwheel coupons on top. Also, for those that have a more difficult store you may want to try buying online for in store pickup and then asking the associate to apply the discount then?
