no heart rate monitor, no light sensor, no nfc payment, no removable wrist band.
Seems to be missing all the essentials.
You can remove the band and replace it with another. But if you are on Verizon and using LTE, you will lose that function due to the LTE antenna in the band.

I might bite at that price. Was it 2 for 75 with this seller?

Can this reply to messages on the watch? Not too familiar with android watches, this would be for my wife but her main feature of internet would be for replying to texts either by voice or some type of keyboard. Kinda like the iPhone watch has

In for one. Tried with stainless steel but order wouldn't go through. Luckily I was torn between steel and gunmetal. Made the decision easier. These were originally $300!?

Over on XDA people are reporting that the watch is still receiving Android Wear updates, as high as 2.8. But no one expects it to get Oreo.

A VZW page for the watch suggests that it might still receive an update enabling Android Pay on the otherwise dormant NFC chip: https://www.verizonwireless.com/s...se-209381/ Hopefully they'll follow through for the customers they conned into buying the watch at $350...

They were not two for $75, they were $75 each if you bought two. I bought one before, and loved it, then bought two more for gifts. The missing heart rate monitor is useless in my opinion, I have other smart watches with that feature, and no NFC, who cares. I don't use it as a phone, so the band is replaceable for me.You can only use it as a phone if you have Verizon, and add it to your account as an additional phone line. Can't imagine it being much use as a phone, anyway. I'm not Dick Tracy!

I heard this thing has very poor speakers, so if audio is bad and nfc is usless and no heart rate, I'm curious what is the point of waring it? Oh maybe better battery life and it is still smartwach.
