Correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like a terrible idea to me. SSD's are pretty good nowadays as far as writing cycles go, but video recording uses gigs upon gigs each day. Isn't a HDD best suited for this?

When I see outrageous statements like this, my wish has always been that the poster manufactures and sells SSDs. I want to know how profitable his company is selling below cost and whether "making it up on volume" actually works or not.
