the only place your body uses iodine is the thyroid gland. if you are low on iodine youd end up with a goiter. a simple blood test can detect whether your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is at an appropriate blood level.

most of the salt used is iodized and the average person easily meets their nutritional requirement.

if it works for you thats great, but no greater medicine than placebo.

My daughter gets really cold hands when walking home from the bus stop. I ordered one of the to see how it works. If it's any good, I'll order another... Hoped that coupon lasts a few days.

So this is off the subject - sort of.

I used to get really cold hands and feet till my naturepath recommended that I start taking an iodine supplement. Literally changed how I felt within hours.

Really upset that I dealt with this for decades all because I didn't get enough iodine in my diet. I actually do eat sushi rolls so I eat a lot of seaweed but obviously not nearly enough. Anyhow - hope this helps someone...

I have one of these, I paid about $15 for it and love it, use it all the time. the low settings is just pleasantly warm, the high setting can be a little uncomfortable for some, but holding it with gloves on, works really well a city block to and from my car to work for 1/3 off what I paid, I think I might buy a few more for friends/family.

Interesting, because I have always suffered from cold hands/feet. As my doctors say...cold hands means you have a warm heart.

I was diagnosed as having Hughes Syndrome (2009) AND Beta thalassemia. Before yoy ask...my body is confused. I have extremely thick blood, but I am also very anemic! So, nothing works for me!

Great this solution helped you!

These are way better then the throw-away chemical hand warmers. I have a bunch of Celstron Thermocharge models for my cold weather hunting adventures. Great price on this one but it looks kinda big judging by the pics.
