I own the Road Warrior. Love it!
Make sure to download the block rocker max equalizer app. You can get great sound without the distortion problems some of you may be having. Pretty sure the app will work just the same with the other speakers listen in the op.
One more thing you can also plug an unpowered mixer into it via the 1/4" input for the microphone and adjust the sound for vocals.
That's it I hope this was helpful for those of you experiencing sound distortion.

70 hz is more than adequate for a pa speaker Wink yes - hi-fi is 20-20000 - but the lowest for most bass heavy instruments (believe?!) is around 40 - 50 hz - ! - besides most of us do not hear 20 and with age it isn't getting better LMAO ! Peace

Those numbers are most likely bullshit on both models.

I'm assuming none of these are water resistant? Live in Florida and want to be able to use in the rain.

How does this compare to say the BEHRINGER EUROLIVE B115D PA Speaker ? In terms of volume levels and bass output? I've heard the Behringer bass isn't very strong at all. At 1,000 watt for the Behringer, curious how the 500w compares?

Frequency response at 70 Hz is not remotely full enough for me. There are headphones with more Bass. Although not everyone wants a full sound I guess. I would rather a lower power system with deeper sound than a higher power system with handicapped sound.

behringer is more of a pro line Wink ! and you probably would want 2 of 'em ?! pretty loud and boomy ! 100% sure you 'll need ac outlet ! I saw ION a couple times - but never heard it "up close and personal" but strongly believe they are designed for different purpose ! portability and lights on ION makes it more of a party animal laugh out loud where behringer is more targeted toward DJs (bigger party!) Peace

My cousin owns the road warrior and I have to say it is a bad ass speaker. ION is a good brand. I just bought the Ion solar rocker for camping. I would def. any ION speaker.

I bought this during last FP but I returned it. It came smashed in the corners and they did not package it properly. It is heavy and had quarter inch packaging foam with thinnest packaging box that I have ever seen. I felt bad shipping it back its own box but I didn't have anything better.

I did think the speaker box is not rated to survive any drops on its own weight.

It felt like someone returned it and it got forwarded; only thing is that it was actually shipped to me from Buydig.

It also sounded muffled on voice frequency with heavy bass and not enough high. To each's own though.

To replace this, I bought two Aomais Go from last front page deal and I am so happy that I did and that I returned it and Aomais sounds better IMO.

HTH.
