This is Vick's newer model and has been at $45.99 or higher until today. My guess is that Amazon pricematched Walgreens. Shipping is free.

I honestly can't see what this would do for you that a pot of heated water with some vicks in it and a towel over your head wouldn't. Heck chalk it up as another use for your instapot on saute mode. Or a diffuser with some essential oils (Menthol maybe? https://www.amazon.com/MENTHOL-Es...B00DTFFDJ6) I usually just get in a shower with the steam...rub some vicks under each nostril if necessary. My doctor has me spraying salt water (saline) via an empty nasal sprayer to keep my sinuses clear from allergies and it's really made a difference over the afrin clones I was using (and getting "addicted" to....basically your nose would close off every time the spray wore off so you'd take more....vicious cycle)

I'm not trying to be a naysayer but for $35 this kinda looks like a solution looking for a problem when there are much cheaper alternatives.

It is good to have multiple therapies available as alternatives or in combination, and someone having to deal with allergies or cold symptoms at work has fewer convenient or embarrassing or disruptive options to use at a desk or washroom.

This device should be $15 at most... You can buy a Vic's humidifier for under $20 all day

If it were wireless I might buy it. Also, no HDMI.

I can just imagine this thing getting colonized with bacteria, then becoming a source of infection.

Exactly my thoughts, but the packaging claims unit has anti-microbial features.
