Been watching this for a while, been hovering around $80. Free Prime Shipping, multiple sellers. Previous FP was $65 in 2013.

Do you realize that it's people like you who caused REI to change their return policy? Also, by returning things and getting new sets with the refund is really no different from the throw away society. It just costs you nothing and everyone else shares the burden. You could instead sharpen your knives, patch your clothing, or touch up your drill bits on a grinder, but you'd rather take advantage of generous return policies and then complain about how terrible manufacturers make products.

Love this knife. Had it for over two years... think I paid $50. It's all about performance and it delivers IMO.

Had an alert set for this for a while, year or two maybe. Thanks! Might replace my Wusthof Classic Santoku.

Just be careful when u receive it. check the brand name on the knife before you use it. I got a Tojiro sujihiki from amazon and seller was sending out a cheaper brand that looked similar. Had to return it

Lol like in all knife threads... just look at the thread on that Miyabi knife currently in the frontpage. Absolutely toxic.

Got one of these a couple of months ago after a dish washer grabbed my Mac off the cutting board and then proceeded to break the tip off 😑. I enjoy the tojiro, but it needed a few passes on the finishing stone to get it where I want it sharpness-wise and the choil and top of blade needed to be sanded a bit. Haven't had to resharpen yet so I can't comment on that. Great value though at this price!
