$399 at Best Buy... or price match at Crutchfield to save on taxes in most states, free shipping and a 60 day return policy!

These things rarely go on sale (so far). In my tax jurisdiction, the total savings is $151, or 27%.

I have this installed and it works just like adt (which i cancelled, saves me $40 a month). This will be paid off in a year. The app and notifications are top notch.

No it isn't. Simplisafe has a major security vulnerability where it transmits the pin in clear text wirelessly. Don't believe me google it.

Facepalm
Major how? It's actually a pretty limited vulnerability that has never been proven to have been used IRL to bypass a simplisafe system. In order to carry it out a 'hacker' would need to buy a simplisafe system for around $200 or so, make $50 or so worth of mods, then have that system within a close enough vicinity to yours to intercept your pin.

Monitoring costs an extra $20/mo. and requires a 3 year contract unless you want to go month to month, which is then $30/mo. It's also $5/mo. for cellular backup, which would need to be used if your internet was disabled or wifi went down.
