Sorry if this is a stupid question, but couldn't you run your guitar output into a DI box, then run a mic cable to the looper?

Re: this deal -- I can't believe how inexpensive this tech is now. Maybe it's because it's not as feature-rich as the Jamman I used to have (two pedals, lots of memory slots, CF card slot, etc.). Nice find!

You can just get an XLR to 1/4" cable, or adapter and this will work as a cheap looper pedal. I'd personally recommend a 2 pedal looper, but this is ridiculously cheap for a looper. If you're looking to get other pedals, the tc electronic flashback delay pedal has a built in, single pedal looper that is good for jamming etc.
