85P often goes on sale for $29 for those that can wait. Much better than 74P

This. I will say that this unit is probably better than that junk Auto-Vox unit that continually pops up on here for the same price.

How long does this take to inflate a car tire a few PSI? I hate going to the gas station whenever my tires need to be inflated a little.

I own the 84P and 85P which has a slightly higher CFM. It takes me about 2 minutes to from 27lbs to 33lbs. I would think it should it would be around that range. I had black and decker previously that took like 4-5 minutes to get the same pressure. The viair is alot quieter too.

I would advise buying a cigarette plug to battery clamps adapter, I blew a lot of fuses before learning my lesson.

Keep one in every car. Haven't had one malfunction yet.

I Wonder if this thing got enough juice for a Toyota Sequoia 2002.

Car doesn't matter... tire size will dictate fill time, but in general - the bigger the tires, the longer the fill time. I wouldn't buy this unit for something with big sidewalls like that. It will take forever to fill.

I have an 85p that I keep for emergencies in my car, but the sidewalls on those tires are only about 1.5" high, so they fill quickly.

I will say that I've been really impressed with the quality of Viair compressors. They really are worth the slight cost premium over the true junk you can buy. I have a Viair compressor permanently mounted on my offroad rig, and it's a true champ.
