I want to point this out, there HAS TO BE a chemical compound within pistachios that has addictive qualities to it. I'm telling you I have never encountered a natural food (not processed) in my life that you literally have to go back into the bag and eat another one. There's times when I'm eating pistachios that I need to almost talk to myself aloud and say: "Stop, no more for you!".

I'm a really disciplined eater too. If I see dessert on a table I usually just pass by it without even thinking of wanting to eat it.

I'd love to have a food scientist explain what causes Pistachios to be borderline crack.

After getting hooked on salt and pepper flavor it's hard to go back to just salt.
