Bought one from previous BB sale at $999 and finally had time to hook it up last night for the first time. I'd have to say, it is one of the most stunning displays I've ever laid my eyes on. Definitely recommended!

I've been waiting for the $899 BF price to come back but decided to bite this time. Didn't want to miss it again. It was close. Seems like I snagged the last one. OOS now.

Man been waiting for the bf deal too.. if it's still available in the AM I think I'll bite. I tried checkout earlier and it was not OOS yet.

Users seem to really like this monitor.

Price is still a bit steep though. Currently using an LG 42in 4K monitor.

Picked one up. I know the overclockable 4K HDR models will be coming out this year but those will probably be $1600+ with G-Sync. Plus 1440P is a lot less taxing on GPU and still looks great.

Should pair nicely with my S2716DGR from last year.

I have been debating between larger 4k and these 21:9 monitors... What is making you drop your 4k for this one?

I picked up this monitor after going to a friend's house that had a standard 4k monitor and an ultrawide and the comparison isn't even close for the immersion you get from an ultrawide. 4K is cool for extra pixels but it is small gains compared to the 1440p you get in the ultrawide and the curved screen real estate is a HUGE gain compared to standard screens. Go ultrawide and you won't regret it!

How does this compare to the Acer Predator X34?

The specs state that this panel goes to 120hz - whereas the X34 can only be overclocked to 100. Otherwise, looks like everything else is the same.

I'm curious if this model suffers from the same horrible blacklight bleed as the X34 and Asus PG348Q. The higher refresh rate might mean they are using a different panel?

Majority of reviewers say BLB is minimal. This IPS panel is the later and newer one, compared to x34

My brother picked this up during christmas time when it was $900.

its a nice monitor but honestly after switching to 27" im not a fan of this monitor anymore.
THe ultra wide is very nice but i feel its small on the vertical aspect of it.

They shouldnt take a 24" monitor and strretch it to be 34" wide. They should take 27" and stretch it 34" wide.

-edit- He ended up returning due to one corner had BAD BLB. They wouldnt swap it out for a new one but only offered a refund.

I currently have a Asus PG278Q and paid $699 when they first came out, stupid me. I saw this a few times at Fry's and it was amazing. I'll post up how it does with a 1080 TI given there are more horizontal pixels in this over the 27" 1440P.

I tried out the PG278Q briefly before going with the PG348Q. With a 1080 Ti and identical settings (literally just swapped monitors and changed the game resolution) I found that I lost about 10-20 fps depending on the game. 6700k @ 4.4Ghz and 16GB. Curious what your results will be.

Besides a 1080Ti nothing can drive 4k with decent fps in newer games.
For productivity that's a different story though.
