As a note, for those thinking about this. The locking mechanism on this budget line is not TSA accessible, so if you're flying, you will have to leave it unlocked.

The smallest piece is 22 inches high. Since the interior dimensions show 19.5 inches am I safe to assume that the wheels are two inches and that their size is included in the overall 22 inch height? I am thinking this is intended to be used as a carry on piece of luggage as 22 inches is a pretty standard size for carry on luggage.

Wondering which is the best quality hard luggage set. Need a carry on and a large luggage and would happily buy the set to get an extra free medium luggage.

I won't buy these hardshell for checked in bags, they get toss around and break after a few uses.

Good for carry on, not so much for checked bags.

Problem is the normal zipper types tend to get wrecked in some airports, like Indonesia, so the clamshell types are more reliable
