How do these stack up against a North Face base camp or REI house brand duffel?

The backpack straps make it doubly useful.

Amazon wont match - they dont sell it directly. Ozark Trail is a Walmart house brand.

I have this, got it for $27 few months back. Its fantastic, very sturdy, the backpack straps seem like they will hold for quite some time, though they are not comfortable for more than short jaunts. I would obviously never hike with this. That said, it seems well constructed (not quite Patagonia's quality obviously but then again its $100+ less). I have not tried to carry this on a plane but I imagine you could with some straps tied around it to make it a little smaller. I wouldn't be scared to check this either, it doesn't seem like it would tear. I've been using for weekend car trips. 100% worth $15 and I'm considering grabbing another for when mine inevitably tears in several years.

True! We never think that these and other offers will come back around.

How does it pack down with not filled with items? I am looking for a duffle/backpack that is packable to that I can store in other bags on trips and use to return home if I accumulate too much while traveling.
