For those of us with Costco memberships that are also within Same Day delivery of a Costco, you can get their flowers and a dessert/wine/toilet paper/whatever delivered with a minimum purchase of 35$.

I understand that it wont be in any sort of romantic packaging but it's still a great deal on flower delivery.

So for $39.27. I'm getting two dozen roses, strawberries, and a dessert delivered to my wife on Valentine's.

You can't place the order until 5 days in advance.

Thought it might be helpful to some. This is really for those seaking delivery only. Buying in store is cheaper.

EDIT: Also, I understand that this isn't exactly a "deal" but its a great price on a service most people pay too much for.

This is similar to Google Express where many of the products offered are priced higher than they are in store. So, you're paying a premium for the "free delivery".

This is the truth. Online Costco prices are typically higher than their in-store prices. And they don't price match, so you can't get a refund on the price difference if you show them your receipt. Costco is one of the very few stores that doesn't price protect against their own prices online/in-store.

Of course, you can always return the item and buy it again. But they hope you won't go through that inconvenience.

Actually I've seen several stores that won't price match their online and even other local stores Target comes to mind.

Yes/No

Google Express doesn't do "fresh" goods. Nor do they do 1 hour delivery/Same day. At least not in my area. Also not all Google Express prices are higher, most but not all.

Costco same day delivery, all prices are higher. Each price per item is including tax and delivery.

This deal is really for those sealing delivery only. Buying in store is cheaper.

You got it all wrong. I dare any guy to send her for Valentine's day a bag of potatoes, 1 lb of butter, a tub of sour cream, a container of salt, a container of pepper, 2 bags of charcoal, a nice pack of ribeye steaks, a case of cold beer, and a note that says, "Have dinner ready when I get home. PS. I'll let you use my Weber just this one time." Then I dare you to eat that dinner with her and not worry about food poisoning.

😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

I just clicked on the link and saw this (mentioned on the top of the front page for the site)...

Prices are higher than your local warehouse and include service and delivery. The order minimum is $35.
Instacart uses the service amount to provide competitive pay to all shoppers working with Instacart. Unlike a tip, which can only go to the shopper delivering your order, a service amount allows us to pay all shoppers (including those, for example, that also pick out ordered items in the store).

So maybe for some the convenience will out weigh the higher price, for others it won't. I know for me it won't.

Not all prices are higher, most of the items I found are the same, but I just found that the baby formula is more expensive on the website.

Thanks for the tip.
The FAQ states:
Additional service and delivery fees apply
Minimum order of $35

What did you pay for the extra fees?
