Tons to choose from. Schiit is always a good recommendation and "always" on sale.

Fulla for a baby amp+dac combo in one unit that will work with these great. Only $100
Magni 3 + Modi 2, the Schiit stack for $200 is hard to beat

Of course there are decent entry Chi-fi combos out there too.

Syba Sonic SD-DAC63057 is another baby amp + dac combo similar to the Schiit Fulla for $38 off Amazon is an amazing deal. It even handles mic input and mic amplification! Perfect for desktop gaming.

Another decent combo unit for the price is the FX Audio DAC-X6 for $65

If you REALLY want the best quality combo headphone dac amp for the price, and don't mind the wait, nothing beats the Audio GD "aka Audio God" NFB 11.28. Price to performance is truly excellent with this unit. Although it is slightly more expensive than the recommendations up above at $330 + shipping.

For reference I own all those and more Smilie

No offense here, but what you said is technically incorrect. Whether or not they are hard to drive is related to impedance, but more importantly depends on sensitivity. For these phones the sensitivity is 93dB, which is very low and makes them harder to drive than most common headphones out there - about as hard as Senn HD650 (300 Ohm). Yes you can use them directly with your smartphones, but the sound will be very different than when they are fully powered by a proper amp.

Regarding sensitivity and impedance, you can easily google it and most articles will explain it much better than I can.

Impedance is 35 Ohms, you don't need an amp for this one. I own one and I can vouch for its ability to work off an iPhone or Android, no problems.

Adorama and Buydig are killing it with Hifiman deals. Wish this Special edition had some extra goodies like balanced cable

How does the sound quality compares to some of the Bose QC15/25/35? I dont need NC, but something on the same sound quality.

Totally different things. QCs will be portable, this set is open back, meaning it leaks sounds and needs a quiet room to fully experience the music

This is an open back and planar magnetic. It's going to be a different type of sound. It's up to you if you like the type of sound they provide yet they are good headphones so they won't be bad. These headphones held their own at the $450 price range so quality of sound is not really in question. It's a matter of preference.
