Seriously? Blu-ray isn't obsolete?
And I suppose you think streaming is better quality than 4k Blu-ray?

4k blu ray players aren't going for less than 55 from what I've seen. Blu ray players are blu ray players. The uhd 4k isn't the same

The irony of this player is, there are very few sets with both 4K and 3D out there now. A shame. I think it's pretty much all projectors now.

Never mind the quality, the sucky streaming selection is why DVD/BD media rules. Let's say I wanted to watch a Samuel Jackson movie this weekend...

Just bought a 3D set to upgrade an old 3D set. In fact, any TV I've bought since 2001 has had 3D capabilities. We'll see if these last until the next set come in.

So DVD's were 720p, and blue rays were 1080p, and this is a newer version of blue ray in 4k?

DVD is 480p, not 720p.
