processor spike in Firefox only when I have slickdeals open

234 104 January 31, 2018 at 12:13 PM
Was noticing a huge performance slowdown in Firefox with over 50% processor use. I'm troubleshooting when I closed the slickdeals tab the processor use dropped to nothing. Tried with a new tab and it went back up.

Similar issues in chrome and IE with additional tests.

No Script is a great extension, been using it for years. It works great for a lot of different websites, pages load a lot quicker etc.
Never noticed how much unnecessary BS is on a page until I started using it. The only drawback to it is you have to "train" some webpages or they won't work right for you. By training I mean you have to allow the scripts to work one by one until the page works the way you want it to.
If it's a frequently visited page you only have to do it once then save it.

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?
