Even though the color isn't great I'd get the orange one. It's a lot easier to spot than the blue and gray. Way easier to keep other people from grabbing your bag too.

Body Dimensions and Weights:
20" - 20 x 13.5 x 9.5, 6.7 lbs.
24" - 24 x 16.25 x 11.5, 9.3 lbs.
28" - 28 x 19.75 x 12.5, 11.13 lbs.

Don't you think the 24" and 28" are too heavy?

Can anyone comment on the weight of this model?

I looked and even the Samsonite soft-side models with the keyword "Lyte" in the name seem to weigh nearly the same.

Any recommendations for lighter models that are suitable for international travel?

Thanks OP. Bought a set for my sister.

Tried to buy the same set at ebags a week ago. But, ebags won't let me use their coupon code that time. Ebags has been running their STEAL OF THE DAY for this luggage set for weeks now, or probably months.

The double wheels is where it's at. Went to Macy's rolling bags around for an hour being "that guy".
