Funny thing is that even though HP makes their own SSD's they installed a Samsung Evo 900 series in my HP Spectre. Just curious to know why

hp does not actually manufacture their own SSD, the just license their name. But why they chose Samsung over their own is beyond me

They ran out of the cheapos like this one and had to put something in or that series just gets fast drives.
