Nonsense.

Here's some facts to go along with your faith. Crime rankings. Higher is worse. The tale of two capitals.

92 Paris, France 52.95 47.05

If you think Paris is bad, don't go to Washington.

Not a bad deal! Now I just need to find airfare from Tulsa to Seattle. Anyone have any ideas when or how would be my best bet? It's looking like the cheapest tickets are $350-$400.
Happy Valentine's Day to my girlfriend! She's never been outside of the country, can't wait to show her my favorite vacation destination! Reps!

I love Paris in the Springtime. I think maybe I'll be watching for late winter ultra-cheap deals next year. I'd rather be cooler than hot, and be there when the plants are just beginning to bud and the city isn't hot and tired. Esp. as my budget only allows for the cheapest of hotels and hostels. There's a freshness in March that isn't there in late summer, methinks.

But of course Paris is fantastique at any time. [youtube.com]

The deal is available on priceline for dates in March and April from Seattle. For example, April 29 - May 7, nonstop for $532.71. March 28 - April 5 is $544.91.

Your best bet is to not live in Tulsa.

You could save about $100 pet ticket by diving the 4 hours to Dallas. SWA doesn't seem to offer anything direct so you could fly from Dallas to Seattle with a layover for about $205 or you could fly to San Francisco and rent a car for a nice romantic road trip north (flight is $120, rental car will be more than $85 for sure, but if you take some time to plan it it can be worth the expense).

Alternatively, drive your own vehicle through the wide open country. It's 30 hours, so if you don't want to arrive exhausted, plan to spend a night or two along the way.

Sorry ... there just aren't better options from Tulsa.

Your best bet would be to just fly from Tulsa to Paris, and skip Seattle.

Google flights found it for $808 later this month.

Looks like Tulsa to France is $926-$1,000. Might save a day each way if you go through Orlando instead of Seattle.
