I'm curious if anyone has hands on experience with this laptop. I wish it had the new 8th gen cpu though. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Having trouble understanding why anyone would purchase a Windows laptop in 2018 WITHOUT a 4k screen or anything higher than 1080p for $800-1200

It's like walking into the BMW dealer and he tells you, well for a few hundred dollars more you can get all leather and power moon roof. Then you are like "Naw im ok with paying nearly the same for the those features but not have them, Im cool with being an idiot"

I tried it in a local microcenter, last time Costco had those online. It felt flimsy. It also has no camera whatsoever. I think the $1k 13" Envy is a much better deal.

Depends on how much extra that costs. I am looking at a 13 HP, and the 4K is about ~$200 more... and on a 13" screen I not convinced it makes that much difference when most of the time I am using external monitors.

This seems like a decent spec given the 512gb ssd. But i would advise anyone in this market to seek 8th gen cpus.

They been in the same price point and offer substantially greater performance. An i5 would be of similar performance as this in many if not all cases.

Is the deal dead? I get a Product Not Found message when I click the link. I also can't find it by searching.

Be careful not all HP's have true 4K screens

If you check my previous posts ive copied and pasted a post on Reddit

Or you can google the post, the list is on the side bar
