I had one of these go bad after less then a year and it can't be fixed. With the Advent of led bulbs, I wouldn't purchase these because once they go bad your changing the entire fixture instead of a bulb.

These lights have 90 CRI which partly explains the lower efficiency (1360 lumens for 24W 20W = 68 lm/W) compared to the usual 80 CRI lights (say, 800 lumens for 8.5W, or 94 lm/W, for a 60-watt-equivalent bulb).

(Product title for brushed nickel fixture says 24W but lighting facts spec says 20W, I'll assume 20W is correct and the efficiency has improved).

Did you try getting a replacement under the 5 year warranty?

Same x2, but different brand. I was glad I bought em from Costco ... Took em back with no packaging, after 2+ years, no questions asked.

Agreed. Only safe place to buy these integrated LED crap is at Costco. It's never the LEDs that go bad either, it's the crap controllers for them. Just adding more shit to the landfill for no good reason.

The Altair Lighting fixture from Costco with similar specs is going on sale Feb 8 for $19.99 which means it's basically the same price as the one from HD. Here's where I got the info.

http://www.costcoinsider.com/cost...page-8-22/

Unfortunately the item isn't on the Costco website right now. I looked a couple of weeks ago to read the reviews and it was there.
